Designed for a young family in their new home in Nunhead, this project centred around creating a kitchen that could truly become the heart of the house.

The clients, who are both passionate cooks and enthusiastic hosts, wanted a space that felt generous, welcoming and connected to family life. A new side return opened up the footprint of the house, creating the opportunity for a larger kitchen designed around cooking, gathering and entertaining.

With their love of food and hosting in mind, I created a light, bright and beautifully homely space that balances practicality with warmth and character. Every detail was considered to make the kitchen feel inviting and effortless — a place to cook, share meals, entertain friends, or simply spend time together as a family.
